Will Nokia N97 survive stress test ?
Test 1 : Screen scratch test
Testing the durability and scratch resistance of the N97. It holds up surprisingly well.
Test 2 : Pocket test
Testing the potential damage you can do to your Nokia N97 in your pocket with keys and coins. Again the N97 holds up extremely well.
Test 3 : Paintwork scratch test
Testing out how good a job the paintwork is on the Nokia N97. Once again the N97 has help up well.
Test 4: Drop in breakfast test

Test 5: Wash test
With all that milk, the N97 needed a good wash with soap and water, but what effect did the soap and water have on the phone?
Test 6: Drop Test
Nokia N97 drop test. The handset is dropped on grass, graven and concrete from both hip and head height to see what damage is caused should you accidentally drop the phone. Again the N97 has withstood a battering.
Nokia N97 seems very impressive in these stress tests. Nokia should be proud that they have build a solid phone again.

the Nokia N97 is very stylish and more rugged than the N91. I own both the N91 and N97, both are good phones but i like the style of the N97

I just spilled some F&N soda in my bag and my Nokia N97 was in that bag. I think some of the soda got into my phone, but my phone was still functioning normally except for one thing – the screen became DIM. And when it’s not dim, it flickers occasionally. I’ve brought it to the repair center (where I bought the phone) and they said the best they can do is to clean it but they said it was a 50-50 percent chance
Can you guys test this out? It’s been a week without my phone now. They also said I could change my LCD screen but that would cost a lot so I just asked them to clean it. Sigh
50-50 percent chance as in, they said that even after they clean it, either the phone will be back to normal or the phone could get other kind of problems after the cleaning =/ or worse, become obselete.
